Hey everyone!
Just to clear things up, we did not just give Madelyn her first bath, we are just now getting around to put those pictures out there! I didnt want everyone to think that we didn't bathe our child for the first month!
And how about those Mississippi State pictures? Cute huh?
We went to Parker Lee's one year old birthday party this weekend. It was a safari and so much fun! Congrats Parker! There were so many kids there of all different ages so it was fun to look around at all of them and imagine Madelyn at those ages!
Everything seems to be going well. Maddy has had collic at night so things have been sort of trying right now. Everyone keeps saying "it will get better"! I hope we survive until then.

We have successfully made it through the first month of Madelyn's life. So far there have been no major traumatic events and she is still alive! Madelyn made her first trip to Starkville this past weekend so that mommy and daddy could go see their Bulldogs get beat by LSU! Her GREAT Aunt Sharon and Cousin Whitney met us in Starkville and kept Madelyn while we went to the game. It was our first time away from Madelyn for more than an hour and I think she probably enjoyed it even more than we did. I know she must get tired of looking at me all the time.
She has been doing good, she is starting to stay awake more (Day and NIGHT). Lately this awake time has been spent crying, fussing and screaming but hopefully that will subside.....soon.
We are looking forward to month number 2 and hope that we'll adjust to our new lives together even more. (Like sleeping for more than 3 hours at a time would be great!) We have had a lot of people over to see her during the last month. Also thanks to everybody that has brought us dinner since we haven’t mastered the art of babysitting, cleaning and cooking all at once!!
Come see us whenever you want!
Love ya
Jeremy, Jenn, Maddy and Micah
