  Jeremy and I have been doing a lot of traveling! We had such a good time seeing everyone at Mandye and Anthony’s over the Fourth of July weekend. The unexpected down pour during the fire and the boat ride were so much fun. Then we got to spend a week in a beautiful condo outside of Destin, FL! Jeremy and I got too much sun on the first day so he spent most of the rest of the week complaining about that! I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable too but that didn’t keep me from getting back out there! I think Maddy enjoyed the ocean and the waves; she was moving all around when we were in the water! We ended up getting evacuated from our condo on Friday because of the approaching Hurricane Dennis. We spent 2 ½ hours going 20 miles because everyone got evacuated at the same time! It was an interesting drive to say the least.
  
  We had a shower given for us this past weekend at my Dad’s house. We got a lot of nice things for Maddy. Overall about 23 people came, including my friend Jodi who made a special visit from Texas just to be at the shower! What a surprise!! I put a few pictures on the site from the shower, but I know some people had some more pictures so send them to me because I would like to have them (jdholley@midsouth.rr.com).
  
  Thursday night is my nursing class… Jeremy is in town and as agreed to go with me so that he will learn and be able to help encourage me this fall. We also have some parenting classes and such that we are signed up for in the upcoming weeks as well. Maybe we will know what to do with Maddy after all.
  
  Maddy has another shower this weekend that we are excited about. Hopefully after all of this calms down (like the beginning of August maybe?!?), we will actually be able to start working on the nursery. Nothing like waiting to the last minute?! Of course, what else is new when it comes to Jeremy and I!?
