Hi!
I hope that everyone had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I cant believe it is 2007! I will have a ten year high school reunion this year and I just don’t feel like I am old enough for that!
We had SO much fun with Maddy and her first real Christmas. And for her, it lasted all week long. We spent Christmas Eve and Day with Poppi, Mimi and Aunt Missy. Then Christmas night we visited with Mimi’s family, the Hollingsworth’s. On Wednesday after Christmas, my grandparents and great grandmother came in town and we had Christmas with them. Then finally on Thursday after Christmas we celebrated with Nana, Great Grandma and the rest of the Holley family. Whew! It was really a crazy time. This is the first time that we have been the out of town guests as well as having Madelyn, who everybody wanted to see! She got soooooo many presents that I put some up in the closet to bring down later when she gets bored with what she has. Santa brought her a climber/slide which she loves and she likes to try and get Micah to go down the slide too. That has yet to happen. She is not talking much. She babbles a lot (sounds like she is speaking chinese) and can follow directions (Jeremy can't really even do that) but she isn't saying any real words yet. I am sure before long she will be talking so much I will WISH she wasn't.
This time last year we were living in Puerto Rico and I do miss the warm weather and beautiful scenery! Although, don’t get me wrong, the new area we live in is beautiful but cold. We actually have seasons here in middle Tennessee as opposed to in Mississippi where there aren’t really any. We get to wear coats here and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for snow.
Jeremy has been working on clients here in Nashville so he has actually been in town. He works long hours but at least we get to see him at night instead of just on the weekends, like we did when he was traveling. He is working really hard and we are very proud of him!
We miss everyone and hope that everyone is doing well. I don’t know when we will be back down South to visit but hopefully soon. Jeremy gave me a new camera for Christmas so I have been trying to learn how to use it. I still havent figured out how to get the pics off the camera and on the computer so I can post them for all of you to see. But as soon as I do, I will. She has changed so much and I want everyone to see!
Everyone is welcome to come visit anytime! We miss you all!
Love ya’ll~
Jenn, Jeremy and Maddy
